The above were generated as hidden-line-removed renderings from a CG model of a Dalek produced in Caligari TrueSpace, and as used in this image
of 34 daleks and elsewhere. Such plans are, however, in no way absolutely definitive, and should be used in conjunction with your own ideas and measurements from any
other source, including photo reference and those plans available from other websites, such as www.dalekcity.co.uk. In the second image above, various details have been removed and the base, shoulders, neck (or "bin") and dome separated out to make things easier to work with. Using these images, together with the knowlege that a "real" (full-size) Dalek was five feet high (about 150cm) should enable you to create accurate enough plans to do everything else required to build the Dalek. |
