This model is built almost entirely from "plasticard" (or any other brand of styrene plastic sheet that can easily be cut with a stanley knife). Most of the plastic used in the model was 2mm thick, with the first stage to cut out the four basic body panels as in the top left photo. These were then cemented with a model solvent as in the second image (top right). Once this basic shape was formed, more panels were cut and cemented as required (bottom left photo), before the completed body was filled with Humbrol model filler and then sanded to make good the edges (bottom right) Please click on any image above to see more detail.
